The Giving Tree Is Waiting For YOU!!!

Did you see the BIG GREEN TREE on the wall at the 1st floor? I bet your wondering what that's for, right? Well that's for thanking someone because they helped you with something.  If a person did something for you and you want to thank that person you could write it and we will post it. But not right now, but soon. And not on regular paper but on red pieces of paper that are round. Don't worry the student council will give you the red, round pieces of paper. And we will tell you everything you need to know about the Giving Tree. And remember the Giving Tree is waiting for you!!! 

ANNOYING ClASSMATES!!!!!!!

I hate annoying classmates SO MUCH!!! They bother me all the time!! Have you ever had someone annoy you ALL the time? And if  you had someone annoy you how  do you make him or her STOP? PLEASE , PLEASE , PLEASE comment on this post! I NEED YOUR  ADVICE!!!!!

research about pg-13 movies

I did research on if should 4th graders watch pg-13 movies. What I found out what that if young kids should watch pg-13 usually when they watch scary pg- 13 movies they get nightmares. When they watch inappropriate movies they think its okay to say things inappropriate stuff or bad words. And when they see pg-13 movies about violence they will most likely like to fight and become violent. So young kids (under the age of thirteen) shouldn't watch pg-13 movies!!!

Is it okay for 4th graders to watch pg 13 movies?

Is it okay for 4th graders to watch pg 13 movies? If students who watch pg 13 movies that are with bad words and violence, will they say bad words and become violent? Or if they watch a scary pg 13 movie will they get scared and have NIGHTMARES? Or will the just do nothing if they saw pg 13 movies? You can post a comment on what you think and I will do research on this topic and see if it is okay for 4th graders to watch pg 13 movies!

Math Test

Can you believe that the math test is in 1 month? We just took the ELA test now we are taking another one!  That' s TOO MUCH to handle for a 4th grader!  The test is 3 days long!  Just like the ELA test. Now we have to do LOTS of test prep, well GOOD LUCK!!!!

RULES!!!!!

Rules here, rules there, rules are EVERYWHERE!! They can be annoying. Every place I go, there are rules. Do this, be helpful, respect each other, focus on your work. The ONLY rule I like is HAVE FUN! Having fun is my specialty but the other rules AREN'T! Rules can teach you stuff if you want to learn but for me, I already learn TOO much in school. What do YOU think about rules?

ELA celebration

After all our hard ELA work we had a celebration. With pizza, chips, juices, desserts and GAMES!Tons and tons of games like monopoly, uno, clue, trouble, dominoes and much MORE!! Also the teacher played music so we got to dance. 4th grade has the best celebrations EVER. I wonder when the next celebration will be.

How to pick out a just right book

First...
*pick a book that is your level

Next...
*read the title

Then...
*read the back of the book to see what is it about

After...
*skim through the book to see the pages and/or pictures

After that...
*if you like the book and you want to read it then it's your just right book

Finally...
*go and read the book

winter vacation

Some people love snow, some don't but they do love WINTER VACATION! Everyone gets to stay home to spend Christmas and New Years. Although they still have to do their packets so they can be prepared for the ELA test. My favorite part about Winter vacation is that you get to spend time with family and friends and also you get to stay up so late! Even though Winter vacation pasted I CAN'T WAIT for other breaks ( like Spring break, and Summer break).

Finally the ELA tests are done but now we have to wait for our scores, that will take FOREVER!! I think I got a 4!! Now we get to relax because there is no more test prep. Well except the math test and the science test. I guess test prep isn't over. Even though we have more tests I am EXCITED!! And who knows I might get 4's on ALL the tests.

TESTS!!!

Tests are coming!! I am nervous and shaking about the tests especially because it's right around the corner! I'm prepared and everything, but you never know what's going to happen. Anyways I'm sure that you and I will both get great scores!! GOOD LUCK!!

RECESS!!!

Everyone loves recess, so do I. Who can blame them, it's the only time kids have FUN! Without learning. Recess it all about having fun, being yourself, hanging out with friends and playing!! Once it was snowing so much outside but we still went out. It was great being outside especially because it was snowing. It was snowing so much I became a snowman covered in snow!

4th grade

4th grade is fun!!! In 4th grade you get to learn all these different things. It great to know stuff that you NEVER knew before. Like did you know who discover New York? Or how the Native Americans lived their lives?  These are questions can be answered if you are in 4th grade. Anyways the best thing about 4th grade is... EVERYTHING!!!!

HOMEWORK!!

Homework is really easy once your get the hang of it.  4th grade homework is pretty easy but apparently  for some people it's hard. 

Homework definitely helps you to be prepared for some big tests in the future. It helps you because the teacher would always put "write an entry" as homework and that helped the whole class with the ELA test, when we have to write the essay.

Everyone thinks homework is hard but it's really EASY!! Sometimes I don't like homework because it's hard but all I have to do is try!

Moving Levels

Hooray! I just moved up a level in reading, now instead of being level P, I am level Q. It's very exciting to move up a levels cause you know you accomplished a goal. I know I did. You never know if you are going to go up a level or go down a level. If you read hard you could go up 10 levels, maybe even more! Don't you love read!? I know I do!
