Art Class

In art class Mr .McGreevy teaches a lot in art. Sometimes in my class we do published piece covers or etc. The things we do are mostly from artist like Vincent Van Gogh. All the artist interest in art comes from teachers or artists. What do you think about art? Who's your favorite artist?  

Math Compared to Writing

Math is a hard subject but in my opinion much easier than writing. Math has short-cuts that you are allowed to use, in compare to writing. Writing is an activity that requires steps that may not be skipped. I have many reasons not to like writing but there are reasons to like writing as well. For instance you get to express your feelings through words as well as make a whole new door to an interesting world. If you disagree or agree strongly so you want to say something feel free to comment.

 This step is kinda weird. It has steps in it.

1. Type up your piece OR write it in pen 

2. Make a cover

3. HAVE A AWESOME PARTY!!!!

 I am so sad, this is the end of the writing unit!! I am also very proud :)

After you have done that, you ask a parent or sibling to check for you. Like, if you spelled the word Elvis wrong, your peer might check it for you.

This blog is about picking a piece. All right, first of all, set all of your pieces in front of you. Pic out the pieces you think are good, not great, but good. Then pick out the pieces that you are really close to. Then pick out the one that you think is really interesting, strong AND close to you, this the one that you are going to focus on.

MAKE SHORE YOU REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS PIECE!! YOU ARE GOING TO BE WORKING ON FOR A LONG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More About Writing

Today we are going to talk about.......COLLECTING ENTRIES      

This is the VERY most important step because we can not go forward with our work if you don't do this step? O.K, you should make a list of writing territories, like your family or your friends or your dog or your hamster, anything you might write about. If you're going to write about it check it off, if you write about it twice, check it off twice etc. Now make a list of the things that you can write some thing about yourself on. Pick one and write away!

What are entries are you asking? They are the little moments you write about, like, SHARKS! or The Baseball Game or whatever! It just has to be interesting. Not like, Why I Bought These Pants or How to Cry. Make shore its interesting. Next week I will show you the different the types of writing, remember don't get TOO exited
