my fourth grade class and my teacher

My fourth grade class is a joyful class we have something planned every week. My teacher is one of the nicest fourth grade teacher.She will though most of the period explaining it to you until you get it.And we had an end of the year parties with 3 other classes . My teacher takes us on a field trip every mouth some time three or two in one month.If you where in my fourth grade class you would agree.

Reading.

Reading is my best subject in school. Because you can learn a lot of stuff by reading, most of all, you can have FUN by reading too!!! I really want my reading level to increase so that I can read more good books and learn more stuff by reading. But every time my teacher test me, my reading level, it didn't increase much. But I hope it will.

Field Trips

In 4th grade, going to field trips could be fun and it could be not as fun. Going to field trips is fun because :

-we don't have to be in school learning subjects

-we can also learn in field trips

-we have fresh air to breath

However, going to field trips could be also not fun because:

-you have to write an reflection for homework

-if it's summer, it would be hot

-if it's winter, it would be cold

That's why I think field trips could be fun and not fun.

Half day

Today is a half day! I felt so happy because we could go home at 12:00 and we will be having a lot of time to do homework since we could go home earlier than usual. Also, we could play games, watch TV and do all the things we want to do after we finish with our homework. Even though we could do a lot of fun things in a half day, still,at school, we have to do everything in a rush since we don't have much time in school. So, I think half day could be fun, but it could be also not as fun

The Science test

I am so terrified again because the science test has started! But it's ok. Bernadette said she is going to test 4th grades next week! Yay! There is more time to practice science experiences. I wish I can get a great grade in the science test. I hppe you do a great job on the science test too!

Class Mates

There are many different types of classmates. Some are nice. Some are mean and some like to play mean jokes on other classmates. For example, some kids in my class are very nice and some are very mean. If I want to make a friend, I better be careful of choosing friends because I wouldn't want a friend that's mean to me.

Music class

I love music class. my teacher is Mr.Iocco. I think he is very nice to us. I especially like it when he teaches us how to play the recorder because that is the instrument I like. Also, that is the instrument that I'm good at. I also like it when Mr.Iocco play games with us. However, I don't like it when he give us tests because it makes me nervous since I want to get a good grade.

I like basketball, football, baseball, kickball, soccer.

These sports are very important for you. My favorite sports is kickball and soccer. Every day

I play kickball.

computers

I love computers class because in computer class we get to use computers and I love to use computer. I think computers are cool. the main reason I like computers is because I like to type.

However, sometimes I don't like computer class because I have to do certain things that I don't like. Another reason I like to use computers is because I can do research and play games and talk with friends.

books in 4th grade

I think that books that I read in 4th grade isn't very interesting. When my reading level got higher and higher, Books are more boring and more boring for me. However, there are some books that I really wanted to read it when I first saw it. Sometimes, I missed 2th & 3th grade, books are very interesting. I loves to read books that are below my level. However, I can't read books that are below my level in 4th grade, but I can read them in free reading.

substitute teachers

I feel bad for the substitute teachers because kids behave different when their teacher is here, but when their teachers wasn't near them, they act differernt. For example, in my class, when my teacher isn't here, we have a sub, and some kids likes to drive the subs crazy. They don't treat the subs the way they treat their teacher, and that always makes the sub have a hard time dealing with them. Also, when kids didn't see their teacher around them, they would chat with their friends and maybe even ignore the sub. However, when they know that their teacher is watching them,then, they wouldn't talk with their friends or ignore the sub. I think being a substitute teacher must be very hard.

The Field Test

We just took the field test on tuesday. Even though my teacher Ms.Cheng said that the test score wouldn't go into our report crad, I still want to get a perfect score. I really don't know why do we have to take so many test anyway. We just took the ELA test and the math test, and now there's a field test. I don't think that teachers should see if we could pass the grade just by looking at our ELA and math test, because maybe somebody who usually get all the assement right but they just had a bad day so they didn't do very well on the ELA and the math test, or maybe somebody who usually did bad on assesments is just lucky that day so they pasted both tests. Then the teachers aren't making good chioces. I think that if the teachers want to see if we could pass the grade, they should just look at the assesments we took to see if we had improve or not.

At Last!!!

At last!!! The ELA tests are over!!! Finally! I can rest from the ELA tests. I hope you did a spectacular job on your tests you had too! I know I did a spectacular job but I don't know if I could get a 4 or high 4. I think you can get a 4 or a high 4. Now I can rest from tests and just work toward my math test. Now I can sleep at 10:00 not 9:00 or 8:00.

Finally!!!

Today is the second day of the test, we just finish book 2. The test wasn't as scary as my teacher sounded, I think it's pretty easy. However, even though I think the test is easy, I am still scared that I might not pass the test. I always think that book 2 was the worse because I have to e answer a short response and write an essay, but my I like book 2 because I like to write the essay at the end of the test.

The Test

Ahhhhhh!!! The test is coming up! In 3 days! I am so nervous even though my teacher Ms. Ahn said to not worry about the test, she even said I can get a 4 if I try my best! I am so cheerful because if I get a 4 for the Math test and the ELA test, I can take the test to Anderson and Briallie or Hunter!

ELA test

I really don't like the ELA test this year because my teacher saids that this year's test is going to be harder than last year's test. However,I get 120 minutes to write so I don't have to rush,but still I'm nervous about the test because it's going to be harder than last year. Also we already have a lot of test,so why do we have to do the ELA test anyway.

I hate homework!!!

In 4th grade, there's a lot of homework to do. Sometimes, the homework is really really hard. Sometimes, if my class go on a field trip, we would have to write a reflection about the trip. Sometimes ,if we are lucky, we don't have a lot of homework, but still I think that my teacher gave out way too much homework for us.

The hardest grade

The hardest grade in my school is 4th grade. Do you know how I know 4th grade is the hardest grade? Because I am in 4th grade, the hardest grade. Another reason why I know is because my fourth grade teacher told me too. Do you know why 4th grade is the hardest grade? Because we are the only one that has three days of ELA and Math test. Can you believe we the ELA test this month? I am so intimidated! Our math test is in May too. We even have a Science test in June! I wish I get a high 4 in every test I get! Sometimes I get stressed out because I might get a bad grade or I am stressed out when I am getting my work back and if, I get a good grade or not. If you are in 4th grade, try your best!
